Final Decision Tour

Feb 14 - 21, 2027

Senior Priority | Open to Grades 10–12

The Final Decision HBCU Tour was created with the college decision window in mind. February gives students an opportunity to visit some of the nation’s most sought-after HBCUs before the spring rush, with fewer crowds and time remaining to compare schools, explore financial aid options and make informed enrollment decisions.

For seniors, this is a chance to move from “I got accepted” to “Can I actually see myself here?” For sophomores and juniors, it offers an early look at competitive HBCUs and a better understanding of what to consider as they begin their own college search.

Throughout the week, students will also participate in developmental workshops and experiences focused on skills they can carry into college, leadership and everyday life.

Grades 9–12

The Spring in the South HBCU Tour is Kindred’s signature Spring Break experience—a week of HBCU exposure, education, Black history, culture, leadership and fun across the South.

Students will experience a diverse mix of nationally recognized public and private HBCUs, from the Atlanta University Center to historic land-grant institutions and campuses in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.
